The Rev. Robert D Snyder Scholarship

The East Ohio Evangelical Fellowship, of which Bob was an early member and leader, has established the Rev. Robert D. Snyder Scholarship for seminarians, whose faith, practice and beliefs echo those of Bob Snyder, and who seek to serve the Conference he served, in the name of, and for the sake of Jesus Christ. We seek to raise funds to establish a perpetual fund out of which annual scholarships can be paid. For those of you who wish to be a blessing to seminarians, and/or to honor the memory of Bob Snyder, contributions to the fund can be made to the Robert D. Snyder Scholarship Fund, in care of Lynn Carper 800 N. Market St. Minerva Oh 44657. The Robert D. Snyder Memorial Scholarship Committee is pleased and grateful to announce that we have reached a level of funding which will allow us to grant the first $500.00 scholarship from this fund in August of 2008, for the 2008-2009 scholastic year. This Year's Recipient is William R. Wendell from the Church of the Lakes in the Tuscarawas District. He attends Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
The Scholarship will give preference to, but is not limited to, those pursuing Elder's orders in the East Ohio Annual Conference, for service in the local church, with a practice and doctrine that is evangelical
